By Road
If you are travelling from the North or London area head down the M5 and leave at junction 27. Follow the A361 heading towards Barnstaple, follow this road for 30 mins and then turn right onto the A399 towards Brayford. Its about 30 minutes from here. Full location details will be provided with your ticket.
Don't leave the M5 at Junctions 23 or 24. This is the direction that some satellite navigation systems will want to take you but it is not the best route and takes you through very small villages with restricted access. Don't head towards Minehead. Take Junction 27. Once you have left the motorway at junction 27 and joined the A361 you can start using satellite navigation if you wish.
If you are travelling from the South West head to Barnstaple and then follow the A39 to the Exmoor Heritage Coast.
We ask that as many people as possible car share, we want to keep the impact of additional traffic entering the national park to an absolute minimum. If you need transport please feel free to let others know on the facebook event page.
Public Transport from Barnstaple
There is a regular bus (every hour) from Barnstaple to the closest town which costs £8, once this bus reaches its destination it is not an advisable walking distance from the bus stop to the event.
You would need to get a taxi too which will cost around a further £8 (not too bad between 2 or 3 of you if travelling together).
There are 2 good taxi companies in the town who are aware the event is taking place and we are currently negotiating a set price for you guys.
FULL LOCATION DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH YOUR TICKET PURCHASE.
